Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Face Waxing (45-mins).

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth over time; results vary with hormones, genetics, and individual hair thickness. We recommend scheduling every 4–6 weeks for maintenance.

Sensations vary but most clients report brief stinging during hair removal. Our technicians use warm wax, proper technique, and calming pre- and post-wax care to reduce discomfort. We can apply numbing or adjust pressure for sensitive areas upon request.

This comprehensive facial waxing covers the upper lip, chin, cheeks, sides of face, and forehead as needed. Your technician will consult before starting to tailor the treatment to your facial hair pattern and skin sensitivity.

Avoid topical retinoids and heavy exfoliation for at least 48–72 hours before waxing. Keep hair at least a quarter-inch long, cleanse skin, and avoid sunburn or tanning. Inform us of medications or skin conditions to prevent irritation.

Waxing removes hair from the root but does not permanently stop growth. With repeat treatments, hair may grow back finer and sparser. Proper technique and aftercare minimize scarring risk; disclose preexisting skin issues during consultation.

We recommend waiting at least 12–24 hours before applying makeup to allow pores to calm and reduce infection risk. Use non-comedogenic, gentle products if necessary and follow post-wax care like cool compresses and SPF.
